Project Case Study · Kitchen Remodel
A Green-Island Kitchen, Start to Finish
Photographed from the yard sign to the last coat of paint.
A dated oak kitchen, closed off from the rooms around it, rebuilt as an open space with white perimeter cabinetry, a sage green island, a custom wood hood and subway tile to the ceiling. This project was photographed at every stage — countertop selections at the showroom, demolition, cabinetry going in, trim and paint, and the finished rooms.

Project Phases
How the build actually ran
Selections and the fixed-price contract are settled before anything is torn out. That is what keeps a schedule honest once the crew is on site.
01
Design & Selections
Layout, cabinetry and finishes decided before demolition. Countertops, tile and paint compared side by side in the showroom and signed off.
02
Demolition
The original oak cabinetry and tile floor removed with the site contained and the adjoining rooms protected.
03
Cabinetry Installation
Perimeter and island cabinetry set, levelled and aligned, then primed and masked ahead of countertop templating.
04
Countertop Template & Install
Quartz templated against the finished cabinetry for exact fits, then fabricated and installed.
05
Tile, Fixtures & Hardware
Subway tile run to the ceiling behind the range, sink and faucet set, lighting and hardware installed and connected.
06
Trim, Paint & Walkthrough
Wall panelling and trim installed and painted, floors uncovered and cleaned, and a final walkthrough with the homeowners.
