Serving Waukesha, Wisconsin

Your Waukesha basement remodeling team

Waukesha is a regular part of our schedule. Our design showroom and office sit at 2345 S Commerce Dr, in New Berlin, an easy drive from Waukesha, and it's where every basement project on this page started: a walk-through, a set of Chief Architect drawings, and a fixed-price contract before a single stud went up. Being local means faster site visits, a showroom you can walk into without driving across the metro, and a crew that already knows the permitting process in Waukesha.

Below-Grade, Done Right

Main-floor comfort starts with building science

A finished basement is only an asset if it stays dry, warm, and quiet. We assess existing conditions first, then build a resilient environment: high-performance insulation for thermal stability and ventilation that prevents humidity buildup.
Egress solutions are installed where sleeping quarters require them, and every electrical detail is handled to code, so the space is as safe as it is comfortable.
Zoned layouts: media room and gym separated from office or guest space
Layered lighting that compensates for limited natural light
Moisture-resistant flooring that stays warm underfoot
Ceiling and wall sound mitigation between floors

"Greg and Andy saw us through our kitchen and master bath remodel. They were professional yet fun and kept us in the loop through the whole process. When problems arose, like a leak in our chimney or uneven floors, they handled it well and the project moved on!"

Common Questions

Basement remodeling questions

How long does a basement remodel take?+
Most basements run 8 to 12 weeks once construction starts. The timeline accounts for ordering and lead times, plus key milestones with updates throughout.
Will I know what my basement will look like before construction?+
Yes. You review Chief Architect drawings and 3D renderings during design and development, and key decisions are finalized before the job starts.
Who handles permits, plumbing, and electrical?+
We do. As a design-build firm, you will not need to hire a designer, architect, general contractor, plumber, or electrician separately. One team, one point of contact.
Can I stay in my home during the remodel?+
Almost all of our clients do. We set containment, floor protection, and daily cleanup standards, and use HEPA air filtration to manage dust.
